Curriculum alignment is much more than simply identifying priority standards and outlining a scope and sequence. When curriculum alignment is done correctly, the work is never truly finished. True alignment requires ongoing formal and informal conversations to discuss topics such as classroom vocabulary, strategies, models, representations, manipulatives, successes and challenges. In this workshop, participants will learn about more meaningful and helpful ways to approach the curriculum alignment process and will leave with strategies and tools to aid their alignment efforts back at school. Come find out how to make curriculum alignment meaningful, beneficial, and possibly even something to look forward to!
