This workshop will provide teachers with a multitude of resources to teach the context, events, and aftermath of September 11, 2001. As we approach the 20th Anniversary of 9-11, our students in grades K-12 were born after this historic event, which makes teaching about it even more important. We’ll discuss developmentally appropriate ways to teach about what happened on 9-11 from kindergarten students through high school. You’ll leave with lessons and activities to use in your classroom the next day.
Note:Refunds will be issued only to participants who call the ROE office to cancel (5) working days before the date of the program. BHS ROE CO-OP participants will be charged if they do not follow this same cancelation procedure.
