#12253 Transformative Writing Instruction

During this year-long professional learning series, based on the work of Regie Routman’s professional development “Writing for Audience and Purpose,” educators will learn a process for teaching writing that can be applied across the curriculum and in coordination with various writing programs.  Teachers will learn how to use the Optimal Learning Model in coordination genre immersion to embed the traits of writing within a meaningful writing process.  Through it all, teachers will learn how to create an environment in which students truly become writers.
