Phonological VS Phonemic Awareness: what is the difference? Phonics: where does that fit in?
How do these three areas impact instruction and the way learners prepare and learn to read? If
you are asking these questions join this workshop! We will learn the ins and outs of
phonological awareness, phonemic awareness and phonics. We will discuss how and when to
best teach these and activities you can implement for your students to practice and solidify their
skills. Summer is a great time to learn, reflect and tweak our practice to better align what we
