“Every math teacher will find something to think about in this book.” Craig Barton is a researcher, teacher, podcast host, and coach. His book is a “story of an experienced and successful math teacher’s journey into the world of research, and how it has entirely transformed his classroom.” Craig describes easy-to-implement, practical strategies that teachers can begin using immediately. Participants will use the research-based book “How I Wish I’d Taught Maths” by Craig Barton to learn how to turn their math classrooms into learner-centered, student-owned places of deep thinking. While all grade levels are welcome to attend, the research is focused on 3rd-12th grade learners.
