LET’S DIVE DEEPLY INTO RATES AND PATTERNS.
Students begin building algebraic pattern-seeking skills as early as kindergarten, and the strategies students develop there continue to evolve through Calculus. Come together with teachers of all levels and learn the language of patterns, rates, and proportions across grade bands. How can we use ideas, concepts, and strategies from other levels to make connections for students at our own? Teachers will leave with a deeper understanding of patterns and rates, as well as new strategies for instruction across grade levels. While K-12 teachers are welcome to attend, the focus will be on the progression from 2nd-9th grades.
