See the Sounds Visual Phonics is a research-based system of 46 hand-shapes with
corresponding movements — which when used together are called “cues”. These cues
represent the 46 phoneme sounds of spoken English. This multi-modal strategy is a
means for students to map sound to print. Visual phonics strategies are able to be
integrated into existing phonics and literacy programs making it the perfect addition to
your classroom. Additionally, Visual Phonics can be used as both universal and
targeted interventions with RTI or MTSS interventions. Join us in learning Visual
Phonics which provides a multisensory (auditory, visual, tactile, and kinesthetic)
representation of the phonemes in the English language to aid in teaching speech,
reading, and writing.
