The Purpose:

The Mathematics on the SAT is challenging for even the best students. The questions expect students to demonstrate procedural fluency, conceptual understanding, and problem-solving skills. Participants in this workshop will examine sample SAT questions, investigate resources for similar problems, synthesize the Priority Learning Standards with the SAT, and explore classroom tasks and strategies for helping students improve their learning and their achievement.
