The Purpose:

In language arts, students LEARN TO WRITE argumentative, informative and narrative essays. In other subjects students WRITE TO LEARN. Writing to learn may include having students write notes, summaries, lab reports, emails, or journal entires. We invite you to attend this evening workshop, where the focus will be on learning ten writing activities that harness the power of writing as a tool for learning.
