With the release of the brand new Literacy Plan, Illinois schools and teachers should work toward assessing the ways in which they teach literacy across the board. This workshop will go through the entirety of the plan, elements of the science of reading, and provide time to assess lessons being taught and how participants can improve upon classroom instructional practices.
