The 5Essentials Survey is a critical component of the school improvement process for Illinois schools. This academy will provide school leaders with a comprehensive understanding of the key elements of the 5Essentials Survey, including the foundational research and the statistical analyses used to determine school outcomes.

Participants will engage in meaningful discussions and analyze local data to uncover trends and areas of need within their schools. Through guided activites, leaders will develop a SMART goal based on identified challenges and begin crafting a targeted action plan to address those issues using 5Essentials data.

The session will also include hands-on navigation of the 5Essentials website, with a focus on accessing and utilizing available resources to support data-driven decision-making. By the end of the academy, participants will be equipped to integrate 5Essentials data into their ongoing school improvement efforts with clarity and purpose.
