In this workshop: Let’s take a deep dive into the Math and become comfortable with the strategies and tools necessary for student success. Teachers will leave with:
A clear understanding of how concepts connect
A mastery of the core instructional strategies
An exploration of visual models (tape diagrams, bar model, area model, number bonds, etc.)
Knowledge behind how to use manipulatives (fraction bars, base ten blocks, pattern blocks, tiles, cubes, etc.) to strengthen conceptual understanding for all learners
A common language for Math success
An understanding of NCTMs Balanced Approach for math instruction
