This professional development session provides an overview of trauma-informed approaches to understanding and responding to student behavior. Participants will deepen their understanding of the underlying factors that influence challenging behaviors and learn strategies for approaching students with empathy, consistency, and support. Emphasis is placed on viewing behavior as communication and using proactive, relationship-centered practices to foster positive outcomes for all learners.
