A strong Tier One in an MTSS program requires carefully planned and structured lesson design. Lessons should typically incorporate a variety of techniques, such as checks for previous knowledge, hooks to pique student interest, engaging activities, and ample time for practice and checks for understanding. How can we structure lessons to fit all of these components? What technological tools can assist in lesson design? How can we actively engage and motivate students while disseminating required knowledge? Participants will tackle these questions and more in this workshop.
