The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) adopted the Illinois Comprehensive Literacy Plan, in January, 2024. This plan is meant to be “a roadmap to enhance and unify core literacy instruction efforts statewide”.
Come spend the day learning abut the content of the literacy plan. But more importantly, come and gain a deeper understanding of how the plan can be used locally to enhance literacy programs and instruction.
